Cinnamon from the 'Imagine' series of Japanese Incense by Baieido. Cinnamon is a highly-prized spice that has been an Incense ingredient since biblical times. Warming and soothing by nature, its use is popular in forms of slow relaxing yoga and deep meditation.

You'll find this fragrance to be strong, warm and earthy and masculine. If your interests extend into Ayurveda, this fragrance works well for the Vata Dosha - encouraging grounding and security through its warmth.

Whilst developing the Imagine series (see list below for the items we stock*) Baieido worked hard and deliberately to bring the past into the present. This practise, called 'Onko Chishin', is an important concept of artistic styling in Japan. Whilst originating from Confucius, it translates as "If a man keeps cherishing his old knowledge, so as continually to be acquiring the new, he may be a teacher of others".
