Gokul Resin or Bdellium is called 'Guggulu' in Sanskrit and has been known as an important healing medicine for thousands of years. Especially known for its healing properties and the relief of arthritis, rheumatism and neurological problems. In the distant past, this resin was also burnt to scare away witches and demons.

and sub-Saharan Africa. In common with many aromatic materials, such as Agarwood and Frankincense, this resin reached the Himalayas via the Slik Road, so its trading history is thousands of years long.
